Oh I do like and appreciate Mr. Keillor, who--out of the blue, in 2021--became a champion of my poetry, featuring five of my poems on The Writer's Almanac, reading them with the same deep and nuanced appreciation for life that he demonstrates in this latest column on friendship. How lucky I was to come onto his radar screen during that epic show's final season! His ia a wise voice, filled with humor, that we very much need these days. Long may he regale us with his stories!
